Finite-element analysis (FEA) according to certification standards

  • Execution of official strength analysis for extreme and operational loads for all components of the wind turbine according to the DIBt, DNVGL and IEC standards and regulations as well as any other national regulations.
  • Detailed fatigue strength analysis using the method of the critical cutting plane e.g. for the hub body, the mainframe and/or the main shaft including bearings.
  • Strength verification of all bolted connections according to VDI 2230 and Eurocode 3
  • Strength analysis of the hub body and nacelle cover in fiber composite construction including all security points (Safety Eyes)
  • Design and strength analysis of the swivel connection between nacelle and tower (Yaw bearing)

Depending on the site and geographical conditions, the optimization measures shall lead to an increase in output and annual yield and can even reduce the noise emission.
